HAC lab member Pam Hanway travelled to Iceland for an academic visit. She met with the director of the Iceland police training center and forensic psychologists who conduct investigative interviews with children. During the visit Pam had discussions about psychology research and how it is used to inform policy and practice in Iceland. (Visit funded by the SCDTP/ESRC).
Congratulations to HAC lab members and House of Legal Psychology graduates, Aleksandras Izotovas and Shiri Portnoy, who successfully defended their PhD theses in both the University of Portsmouth (UK) and the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) in February!
HAC lab member Renan Benigno Saraiva was awarded the student research grant from the Association for Psychological Science. The funded project stems from his work as a supervisor in the Junior Researcher Programme. The aid will assist his research team to better investigate the evaluation of eyewitness evidence by triers of fact.
